I plan to sell a core range of convenience items:

1. Fresh Foods including sandwiches, fruit and vegetables and freshly baked bread/morning goods
2. Local Organic produce
3. Chilled ‘Home Meal Replacement’
4. Limited frozen foods
5. Dry packaged foods
6. Off Licence and Tobacco products
8. Newspapers and Magazines (incl. ECHO)
9. Confectionery, Crisps, Snacks, Ice Creams and Cold Drinks
10. Fresh Flowers and Greetings Cards
11. Common ‘over the counter’ Medicines and other Hygiene products
12. ATM5.
13. Community Notice Board

Future Shop Development Ideas:

1. National Lottery (Terminal not currently available)**
2. Delicatessen counter
3. Dry Cleaning drop off and pick up service
4. Prescription Pick Up Service

Clearly all the above is subject to there being a demand for the services, and as you would expect, I can make no guarantee that all of the services and goods listed above will be provided.

Items marked ** are those that I have most concern about.

It is my intention to provide more than a convenience store.

My aim is to provide a local facility that becomes a core part of the fabric of the estate meeting the convenience retail needs of the community.

To achieve this lofty goal, I have a number of plans in place to try and make the shop a centre of the community.

These plans range from the services and goods I aim to offer, to the style of service I and my staff will provide.
